The opening of our second major show room near Bath and our developing portfolio heralds an exciting expansion for Patrick Porter and Carol Robinson.

What was simply Aberford Kitchens has now become Porter Robinson Interiors.

Patrick and Carol met at an Interior Design conference in 2001. They discovered both a mutual passion for design and a realisation of their complementary skills in concept, production and delivery of bespoke fitted furniture. Since that meeting they have developed and honed their individual skills and now provide a complete project service that covers fitted kitchen furniture, libraries and much more.

Patrick Porter

Patrick is the key design force behind Porter Robinson Interiors. Before the joint venture with Carol he was managing Director of Kitchens by Design, a successful design and build company of the eighties and nineties specialising in bespoke fitted interiors in London and the South East. He developed a reputation for client empathy, producing some of his best work for design conscious individuals. He has an eclectic portfolio demonstrating projects from the contemporary to the unashamedly traditional; reinvented classicism is his by-word.

Carol Robinson

Carol is managing director of Aberford Interiors, a large retail life style shop in Aberford, between Leeds and York. She is renowned for her design flair in Yorkshire and her client base extends from the urban sophistication of Leeds and Harrogate to country houses in the Dales and the Vale of York. Although she majors in fitted furniture and has a formidable reputation for kitchens; accessories, free standing pieces and soft furnishings, make Aberford a one stop shop for home interiors. Her loyal following throughout Yorkshire seek her out year after for product and design advice.
